TE Connectivity's Aerospace, Defense & Marine unit seeks a Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, product management, sales, quality, manufacturing, and finance on strategic transformation programs. The role emphasizes planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet financial and performance objectives.

You will drive program governance, track utilization, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and contractual requirements across a global matrix organization.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, business, engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of related experience in Continuous Improvement, Project Management, Supply Chain & Operations.
  • Proven experience in a large, matrix and global organization, delivering complex projects to completion.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset and experience with playbooks and project excellence methodologies.
  • Experience in supply chain or operations roles, preferably in aerospace/defense.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop planning, budgeting, staffing, schedules, and performance metrics to meet contractual requirements.
  • Ensure activities comply with policies, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report performance against plans; manage changes and analyze data for KPIs.
  • Assemble program teams from engineering, procurement, sales, production, and quality; act as main client contact.
  • May supervise project staff to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Provide reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Job Overview

The Aerospace, Defense & Marine (AD&M) Business Unit is currently seeking a Program Manager as a part of the Business Strategy Transformation Office. TE Connectivity’s Program Manager is responsible for the management of cross-functional teams supporting cross functional, business critical projects. The successful candidate will work with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to ensure projects meet financial, schedule, performance, and customer expectations. The Program Manager is responsible for defining, planning and executing project schedules, budgets and measurement systems to ensure successful project management from initiation to close-out.

Your Main Tasks
Responsibilities

Responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver major customer, business, and transformation programs, typically consisting of multiple projects or sub-projects, within budget and time limitations, in accordance with technical specifications, and in fulfillment of financial and performance objectives. The incumbent will:

  • Manage a strategic business program (e.g., product migrations, business integrations, and special projects aligned with the strategy deployment of the business unit and product group teams) from project initiation and planning through execution, control and close-out.
  • Develop all aspects of strategic and transformation programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, schedules, and performance metrics, and to meet contractual/project requirements, promoting the program throughout the organization and tracking utilization.
  • Ensure that activities follow organizational policies, safety, quality and compliance requirements as well as external regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met; arrange modifications as required and evaluate program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics.
  • Assemble cross-functional program team with members from engineering, procurement, sales, production, materials management, quality, etc., serving as the main point of contact for the customer or program sponsor for all negotiations, decision making, scheduling issues, and problem solving throughout the program.
  • May supervise the work of program or project staff to ensure that work is completed on time or in accordance with established standards or specifications.
  • Provide reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders.

The Program Manager is also responsible for identifying resource constraints and program risks working with management for resolution of those constraints and proactive mitigation of program risks. The Program Manager is expected to adhere to a well-defined program governance and stage gate process to ensure program alignment to business objectives and adherence to all internal and external requirements.

Your Ideal Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, business, engineering, or another related field.
  • 8+ years of related experience in Continuous Improvement, Project Management, Supply Chain & Operations or another related area.
  • Proven experience in a large, matrix and global organization, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex projects to completion.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset and prior experience implementing best practices. Experience leveraging standard playbooks and project excellence methodologies.
  • Previous experience in supply chain or operations roles/management, preferably in a manufacturing or the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Previous experience in business integrations, product line migrations, plant layout optimizations, or related complex business transitions.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMI (Project Management Institute) Certified
  • Continuous Improvement Certified (i.e., Lean Six Sigma)
  • Change Management Certified (i.e., Prosci)
  • Authorized to support European Union Defense programs.
