Job summary

Wire IT, based in Portugal, is a specialized IT consulting partner with a senior team delivering eCommerce projects and complex migrations. The Program Manager will lead multi-team initiatives, ensure SDLC adherence, and collaborate with stakeholders across international contexts while thriving in a fully remote setup.

The role requires 4+ years in software development project/program management, strong leadership, and deep experience with Agile, cloud, Git, and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years leading software development programs or projects.
• Experience managing multiple teams and workstreams (20+ people).
• Proven delivery of eCommerce projects, incl. migrations/re-platforming.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), and release management.
• Experience with stakeholder, vendor, and budget management.
• Knowledge of cloud/infrastructure, Git, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; risk and organizational skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Requirements

• 4+ years ofexperience inSoftware Development Project/Programme Management
• Experience managing multipleteams and workstreams, including teams of 20+ people
• Proven experience delivering eCommerceprojects,ideally within a retail environment, including migration/re-platforming initiatives
• Strong understanding of the SoftwareDevelopment Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and release management
• Experience with stakeholder, vendor, and budgetmanagement
• Good knowledge of cloud/on-preminfrastructure, Git, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
• Strong leadership,communication, risk management, and organizational skills
• Professional proficiency in English
