Job summary

Amadeus Portugal is seeking a Deployments Support & Automation Engineer to help deploy releases for Self-Service products (Kiosks and Auto Bag Drops). You will work with R&D releases and deploy across frontend, middleware and backend, handling pre- and post-deployment checks and documentation.

Around 70% of time is deployments and change management, with 30% focused on automation, monitoring and deployment scripts.

Qualifications

2 to 5 years’ experience in deployment, DevOps/SRE/Platform or application support.
Experience deploying and supporting applications in production environments.
Knowledge of ITIL and change management processes.
Proficient in scripting (PowerShell and Python).
Experience with AWS, Windows and Linux environments.
Kubernetes experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Deploy R&D releases and manage deployments across frontend, middleware and backend.
Coordinate deployment windows with customers and internal teams.
Prepare and review change requests (CRs) with proper rollback plans.
Automate monitoring, alerting and deployment scripts.
Troubleshoot deployment and production issues and assist with environment setup (AWS).
Provide standby support for high severity incidents.
