Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Product Transformation Manager in Portugal to reshape how product managers work across the full lifecycle, from discovery to launch. You’ll diagnose where time is wasted, define data-driven improvements, and lead lean AI-enabled changes that move PMs from insight to action.

You’ll partner with PMs, cross-functional teams and senior leadership to set clear outcomes, roll out phased initiatives, and measure adoption and impact with strong analytics and communication.

The Role

At Sovos, we're on a mission to transform the way Product Managers operate across the full product delivery lifecycle, from discovery and ideation through to launch. As a Product Transformation Manager, you'll identify where product managers are losing time, making decisions without data, or skipping steps that matter, and build solutions to fix it. You'll operate like a product manager yourself, treating our PMs as your primary customers, and drive lean, high-impact change through AI skills, dashboards, and process improvements that shape how work gets done across the entire Sovos portfolio.

More Specifically, You Will

• Conduct lean discovery with product managers and cross-functional partners to identify where time is wasted, decisions are made without data, or good behaviours are harder than they should be.
• Build a research plan for each initiative, validate the problem, understand root cause and scope, and frame findings clearly before proposing a solution.
• Translate validated problems into AI skills, dashboards, or process changes; prototype early, test with a small group, and ship the smallest version that proves the concept before investing in a full build.
• Own the rollout plan for each initiative; run phased launches, gather feedback, and iterate toward adoption targets.
• Define success metrics before launch; synthesise adoption and outcome data into clear recommendations for what to build next or where to course-correct.
• Establish lean practices for incorporating AI tooling across the full lifecycle from discovery to rollout, making AI skills and dashboards the primary vehicle for PM transformation.
• Communicate the value of your work with equal clarity to PMs and senior leadership, coming to meetings with a specific outcome in mind and leading with business impact.

What You Bring to Sovos

• You have built 5–10 years of experience in product management, product operations, consulting, or a related field, with deep working knowledge of the product management lifecycle from discovery through launch.
• You have a track record of owning initiatives end-to-end: defining the approach, executing, and closing the loop with measurable outcomes.
• You're passionate about catalysing and driving change, moving work forward without formal authority through clear thinking, early collaboration, and consistent follow-through.
• You bring discovery discipline: framing the problem before proposing the solution, distinguishing symptoms from root causes, and earning stakeholder confidence before building anything.
• You have hands‑on proficiency with AI tools (Claude or equivalent) as a daily work tool, able to build and launch AI skills and dashboards without engineering support.
• You demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, able to synthesise research into clear problem frames, make scope and trade‑off decisions explicitly, and convey complex ideas with equal clarity to PMs and senior leaders.
• Relevant experience in product management, product operations, consulting, or related fields.
• Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check upon hire.
