Riskified in Lisbon seeks an accomplished Product Manager for the Merchant Platform to own end-to-end product flows—from configuration to review, analysis and optimization. You will collaborate with Engineering and Design to deliver scalable solutions and work with GTM to drive adoption and revenue growth.

You will shape strategy, translate complex challenges into implementable features, and prioritize the backlog to maximize merchant value and retention.

About the Role

Our Product Management Team plays a pivotal role in our company, driving success by working collaboratively with Riskified’s engineering, data science, design, growth, marketing, analytics, and operations teams. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Merchant Platform Product team.

In this role, you will own the definition, execution, and ongoing evolution of end-to-end product flows that merchants can configure and manage on their own, across all Riskified’s customers use cases. This ownership spans the full merchant journey: from configuration and decisioning to review, analysis and ongoing optimization, ensuring the product delivers clear value and measurable outcomes. You will work closely with Engineering and Product Design to deliver robust, scalable solutions, while balancing technical constraints with business priorities.

You will also partner deeply with Go-to-Market (GTM) and Account Management teams to drive successful product adoption, support revenue growth and ensure our platform meaningfully contributes to merchant retention and expansion. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, commercial success and the long‑term evolution of our Merchant Platform roadmap.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and lead the definition, execution, and maintenance of end-to-end product flows across all Riskified’s commercial use cases, ensuring a cohesive and effective merchant experience throughout the lifecycle.
• Drive product strategy and execution for our platform solutions in close collaboration with Engineering, Product Design, Data, and BI teams.
• Translate complex challenges into scalable product solutions that balance merchant usability, system performance, and business impact.
• Partner closely with GTM and Account Management teams to support successful product adoption, enablement, and ongoing usage, ensuring our Merchant Platform supports growth, retention and expansion goals.

• Engage directly with merchants, prospects and internal stakeholders to understand real‑world challenges, validate solutions, and continuously refine product capabilities.
• Own backlog prioritization and roadmap execution, ensuring focus on the highest-impact initiatives that address policy abuse and deliver measurable value to merchants.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management experience in a technical, data‑driven, or platform domain within global SaaS companies, ideally in Fintech, eCommerce, or fraud/risk‑related businesses.
• Experience in building orchestration, workflow management and robust rules and decisioning solutions.
• Proven ability to define and deliver complex, end‑to‑end product flows from ideation through general availability and iteration.
• Strong UX and product sense, with experience building intuitive solutions for complex problem spaces (beyond UI ownership alone).
• Demonstrated success working in highly cross‑functional environments with Engineering, Product Design, Data, and commercial teams.
• Experience partnering closely with GTM and Account Management teams to drive adoption, customer value, and business growth.
• Excellent problem‑solving, prioritization, and execution skills in fast‑paced environments.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret and leverage data to drive product decisions, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Strong strategic thinking with an ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive product growth and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical and analytical concepts to diverse audiences, alongside experienced presenting to senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

We include transparent salary ranges to support fairness, clarity, and informed decision‑making early in the process. The base salary range for this position is €57,000- €62,000 gross annually for candidates based in Lisbon. Your actual salary will be determined based on your unique skills, experience, and competencies. If your expectations differ, please let us know - we’re always open to a conversation.
