Nameless Ventures is seeking a Product Design Manager to own the end-to-end design across consumer, merchant, and admin products for a next-generation fintech payments platform. You will design the system from scratch, build a scalable design language, and lead a small but growing design team while collaborating closely with Product and Engineering.

• 8+ years of Product Design experience in fintech, payments, or consumer products.
• Experience building and scaling design systems across multiple products.
• Strong systems thinking; think beyond individual screens.
• Experience leading or mentoring Product Designers.
• Active use of AI tools for over a year and building automations to improve workflows.

I'm working with a fintech that's building a next-generation payments platform from scratch, and they're looking for a Product Design Manager to define the design language from day one.

This is a true zero-to-one opportunity.

You'll own the experience across consumer, merchant, and admin products, build the design system from the ground up, and lead a small team as the company scales.

What you'll be doing:

• Own the end-to-end design across multiple products and platforms.
• Build and evolve a scalable design system from scratch.
• Design intuitive onboarding and payment experiences for mobile-first users.
• Create products that work seamlessly on low-end Android devices and in low-connectivity environments.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to ship quickly and iterate based on real user feedback.
• Mentor and grow a team of Product Designers.
• Help shape how AI is embedded into the design and product development process.

What they're looking for:

• 8+ years of Product Design experience, ideally within fintech, payments, or consumer products.
• Experience building and scaling design systems across multiple products.
• Strong systems thinking-you think beyond individual screens.
• Experience leading or mentoring Product Designers.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments where shipping beats perfection.
• You've been actively using AI tools for over a year and have built automations or workflows that genuinely improve the way you work.

Location: Remote within Portugal (or nearby country in same time zone) | Hybrid in Porto

Working Hours: East Africa Time (EAT) with core collaboration hours from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM EAT
