The Transactional Sourcing HUB Local Team PT of EDP GBS is looking to recruit a Procurement Specialist.

What you will do:

  • Managing market consultation processes within the Transactional Purchasing area;
  • Interacting with the different Business Units in order to identify and understand their critical needs;
  • Preparing the necessary documentation to launch market consultation processes;
  • Participating in the selection of suppliers and analyzing their ability to meet the needs of the Business Units;
  • Receiving tenders, carrying out their technical and economic analysis (in collaboration with the Business Units, as far as the technical scope is concerned) and negotiating the best conditions with suppliers;
  • Promote competitiveness between suppliers in order to obtain the best quality and price conditions and contribute to the EDP Group's growth and profitability;
  • Proposing improvements to purchasing processes;
  • Collaborating in the support and training, when necessary, of external service providers in the Transactional Purchasing area in the tasks they carry out for us: market consultations for the supply of materials.

What are we looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Economics, Engineering, or any other field as long as relevant experience for the role;
  • Up to 2 years of professional experience in procurement-related activities;
  • Proficiency in Office tool;
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written), with knowledge of Spanish being a plus;
  • Ability to stay focused in high-pressure environment and attention to detail;
  • High level of autonomy and responsibility.
