About The Role

As a CBRE Procurement Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a team focused on sourcing, negotiating, and managing service providers for outsourced services. You will also assist clients or departments in developing and executing sourcing and procurement strategies.

This role is part of the Procurement function, which handles sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials from vendors and suppliers.

What You’ll Do
  1. Provide supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruiting and hiring.
  2. Coordinate and manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategies.
  3. Set and track deadlines, mentor, and coach staff as needed.
  4. Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts supporting procurement activities.
  5. Review contract lifecycle processes and inform management of changes or outcomes.
  6. Manage supplier and contractor certification processes, conduct vendor performance reviews.
  7. Mentor staff on outsourcing practices and their value.
  8. Analyze spend, suppliers, and operations to identify value creation opportunities.
  9. Assist with creating RTFs, selecting solutions, negotiating, and maintaining contracts with service providers.
  10. Lead by example, model CBRE RISE values, and influence stakeholders to reach agreements.
  11. Apply disciplinary knowledge to achieve team and departmental goals.
  12. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues.
What You’ll Need
  1. Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 3-5 years of relevant experience; education and experience combined will be considered. Certifications like C.P.M., C.P.S.M., or N.A.C.M. are preferred.
  2. Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
  3. Ability to communicate complex information effectively and handle sensitive issues.
  4. Leadership skills to motivate and impact team performance.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  6. Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
  7. Advanced math skills for financial calculations.
