A leading pharmaceutical company in Porto is looking for a Process Chemist to design and optimize processes for drug candidates. You will play a critical role in the technology transfer for manufacturing and collaborate with diverse teams. Ideal candidates should have a PhD in Organic Chemistry, strong knowledge of GMP, and expertise in process optimization. This position is full-time and suitable for mid-senior level professionals.

The Impact You’ll Make

• Shape the future of Bial’s drug candidates by designing and optimizing synthetic routes considering process safety and long-term sustainability, economic, logistic and regulatory aspects;
• Assist the technology transfer process required for the manufacturing of Bial Drug Candidates and commercial products;
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to bring new therapies from lab to market;
• Drive innovation through Quality by Design (QbD) and Design of Experiments (DoE) to ensure robust and efficient processes;
• Contribute to IP strategy and regulatory filings, safeguarding our discoveries and accelerating development.

What You’ll Bring
