• 7+ years in Business Operations or Strategic Operations or similar leadership roles.
• Experience designing and scaling operating systems and planning processes.

• Excellent written communication and ability to simplify complex information.
• Strong systems thinking with scalable solutions.
• Executive presence and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Ability to operate independently in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Demonstrated AI fluency and regular use of AI tools.
• Familiarity with OKRs and quarterly business reviews is a plus.
• Familiarity with Notion, Linear, Slack and AI assistants is preferred.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the operating foundation of a fast-growing organization by improving how teams plan, prioritize, and execute. You will partner closely with executive leadership to build scalable systems that translate strategy into measurable outcomes. The position combines strategic thinking, operational excellence, and hands-on execution across critical company initiatives. You will design planning frameworks, improve decision-making processes, and remove organizational friction. Working in a remote-first environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create clarity and alignment. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced operations leader who thrives in ambiguity and growth environments. You will help establish the mechanisms that enable teams to move faster while maintaining focus and accountability.

Accountabilities:

As a Principal, Strategic Operations, you will be responsible for building and optimizing the systems that enable effective company-wide execution. You will work closely with senior leaders to improve operational rhythms, align priorities, and create frameworks that support sustainable growth. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and continuously improving leadership operating systems, including planning cadences, decision-making frameworks, and execution rhythms.
• Owning quarterly and annual planning processes by ensuring priorities, dependencies, and resources remain aligned across teams.
• Driving execution of high-priority cross-functional initiatives by improving accountability, coordination, and follow-through.
• Building scalable documentation, operating mechanisms, and planning tools that help teams execute efficiently.
• Partnering with executive stakeholders to identify organizational challenges and implement solutions that improve decision quality and operational effectiveness.
• Translating complex business challenges into clear frameworks, actionable recommendations, and measurable outcomes.
• Leveraging AI tools as part of daily operations to improve judgment, efficiency, and decision-making processes.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in strategic operations, business operations, or similar leadership roles within high-growth environments. You should combine strong analytical thinking with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Required qualifications include:

• 7+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategic Operations, Chief of Staff roles, Management Consulting, or comparable operational leadership positions.
• Proven experience designing and scaling operating systems, planning processes, or execution frameworks within growing organizations.
• Experience partnering directly with founders, executives, and senior leadership teams on company-wide initiatives.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information into clear decisions and frameworks.
• Strong systems thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying root causes and creating scalable solutions.
• Excellent judgment, executive presence, and the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Ability to operate independently in fast-moving, ambiguous environments while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Demonstrated AI fluency, including regular use of AI tools, understanding their strengths and limitations, and continuously improving how they are applied.
• Experience with company planning processes such as OKRs, annual planning, or quarterly business reviews is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern collaboration and productivity tools such as Notion, Linear, Slack, analytics platforms, and AI assistants is preferred.
