We offer a role: Principal Python Engineer (Remote from Portugal) with no-term full-time contract, health insurance, 22 days of paid vacation plus 4 extra days, meal allowance, training budget and a great team culture.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of experience as a Python engineer with backend and architecture focus.
• Hands-on with Python, FastAPI, Azure, AKS and Terraform.
• Experience designing scalable cloud-native systems.
• Strong software architecture, design, performance, security and observability skills.
• Experience defining technical direction and engineering best practices.
• Proficient with DevOps and CI/CD, with automation focus.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; translate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience in Agile environments with ownership mindset.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Role: Principal Python Engineer (Remote from Portugal)

Location: Remote from Portugal

Required skills:

• 10+ years of experience as a Python Engineer, with strong expertise in backend development and software architecture.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, Azure, AKS, and Terraform.
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex, scalable, cloud-native systems.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, technical design, performance optimization, testing, security, and observability.
• Experience defining technical direction, establishing engineering best practices, and influencing multiple development teams.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD, with experience driving automation and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and support complex production environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear decisions.
• Strong experience in Agile environments, with a proactive mindset and a high level of ownership.
• Fluent English both spoken and written.
