Wintermeyer Ventures seeks a senior process engineer to lead end-to-end design of a modular synthetic fuels system, from concept through deployment and commissioning. You will shape first-of-a-kind technology across reactor, electrolysis, and direct air capture modules, helping the team scale safely and avoid costly design rework.

You will own process architectures, lead safety activities (HAZOP, FMEA), and oversee construction and commissioning of large-scale projects with EPC/FEED teams.

Qualifikationen

• 10 to 15 years of process engineering experience with end-to-end design from concept to deployment.
• Experience designing, building, and commissioning first-of-a-kind plants or large-scale systems.
• Background developing new technology and working with large EPC/FEED teams.
• Experience leading process safety using HAZOP and FMEA.
• Knowledge of process simulation, P&ID design, mass & energy balances, direct air capture, electrolysis, and Sabatier reactors.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering or related field.

About the Role

Lead process engineering for a modular synthetic fuels system, spanning concept design through deployment and commissioning. You will shape first-of-a-kind technology across reactor, electrolysis, and direct air capture modules, helping the team scale safely and avoid costly design rework.

What You'll Do

• Own process engineering across the system from early architecture through construction, commissioning, and deployment.
• Lead process safety activities, including HAZOPs, hazard assessments, and FMEAs, to support safe and compliant designs.
• Develop process architectures that balance production cost, efficiency, and practical deployment needs.
• Oversee construction and commissioning of large-scale synthetic fuel projects.
• Capture and apply engineering lessons to improve designs as the technology scales.

What We're Looking For

• 10 to 15 years of process engineering experience, including end-to-end process design from concept through deployment.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
