NovaMart Procurement seeks a Preservation Architect to lead assessment and restoration of historic buildings in Porto, Portugal. You will develop preservation plans, oversee projects, and ensure compliance with guidelines while coordinating with engineers and contractors.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Architecture and at least 3 years of preservation experience, strong communication and project management skills, and willingness to travel within Europe.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Preservation Architect on historic buildings/structures.
• Knowledge of local, national and international preservation guidelines and regulations.
• Familiarity with materials used in historic construction and restoration techniques.
• Strong multi-project management skills and ability to oversee several projects concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects to ensure compliance with preservation plans and guidelines
• Collaborate with other architects engineers and contractors to ensure the structural integrity of historic buildings
• Research materials and techniques used in historic construction for use in restoration projects
• Provide expert advice on preservation techniques and strategies to clients and stakeholders
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to preservation projects

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect working on historic buildings or structures
• Knowledge of local national and international preservation guidelines and regulations
• Familiarity with materials used in historic construction and restoration techniques
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Biometric passport or ability to obtain one for travel within Europe

Salary 1800$ per month negotiable based on experience

Work schedule Full-time 40 hours per week

Location Porto Portugal ability to relocate preferred
