Job Title Preservation Architect - Braga Portugal

A reputable architecture firm in Braga Portugal is seeking a Preservation Architect to join their team The ideal candidate will have a strong background in historic preservation and restoration with a passion for preserving the cultural heritage of buildings and structures

Responsibilities

• Conducting on-site assessments and surveys of historic buildings and structures
• Preparing detailed reports on the condition of these buildings including recommendations for preservation and restoration
• Collaborating with clients contractors and other professionals to develop preservation plans
• Overseeing preservation projects from conception to completion ensuring that all work meets preservation standards and regulations
• Conducting research on historical architecture and materials to inform preservation plans
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to historic preservation

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
• Knowledge of local and national preservation laws and regulations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Salary

The salary for this position is 1700$ per month

Location

This is a contract job based in Braga Portugal. The chosen candidate must have a biometric passport as it may be required for travel purposes.

Accommodation

This is a contract position without accommodation provided by the company. The chosen candidate must arrange their own accommodation during the duration of the contract.
