International Schools Partnership Limited is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing learning environment for young children in Lisbon. The role involves aiding lesson delivery, supervising activities, and promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development aligned with the preschool curriculum.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with young children in an educational or care setting (preferred).
• Ability to support learning activities and follow the preschool curriculum.

Responsabilités

• Support Classroom Instruction by assisting the lead teacher with daily lesson plans and activities.
• Supervise and engage children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play.
• Assist with behavior management and help develop children's social and emotional skills.
• Prepare learning materials and organize classroom resources and displays.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, and sanitize toys, surfaces, and equipment.
• Provide individualized support to children who need extra help.
• Observe children's development and report progress to the lead teacher.
• Support routines and transitions to foster independence and consistency.
• Encourage positive interaction and model inclusive classroom behavior.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent teaching practices.
