The role centers on developing nanosystems that selectively interact with cellular mechanosensors and applying them to mechanobiology studies in tendon models.

You will culture iPSCs, build 3D tendon-on-chip systems, integrate imaging and omics data, and contribute to publications and grant writing.

Qualificações

  • PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology, Genetics, Bioengineering, Tissue Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Extensive hands-on research experience in stem cell biology, mechanobiology, bioengineering, molecular/cellular biology, gene editing or related fields.
  • Strong hands-on experience in culturing, maintaining and differentiating induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).
  • Experience with gene editing approaches for engineered cell lines.
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques (qPCR, RT-PCR, Western blotting).
  • Familiarity with genomic/transcriptomic technologies (RNA-seq, scRNA-seq).
  • Experience with cell-based assays, immunofluorescence, and flow cytometry.

Responsabilidades

  • Culture and manipulate primary and stem cells, particularly iPSCs, and assess responses by cellular and molecular biology techniques.
  • Establish human iPSC-derived cell models, including 3D cultures, organoids and organ-on-chip for musculoskeletal disease research.
