Rustic Pathways is seeking a Local Program Leader for Portugal for Summer 2027. You will reside in Portugal, oversee student safety, and coordinate with international leaders, vendors, and staff to deliver a safe travel learning experience.

You will mentor students, manage incidents, and communicate with parents while upholding our values and sustainability protocols. Fluency in English and Portuguese is required; prior leadership and cross-cultural experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• Experience in service-learning, tourism, or experiential education.
• Experience with young adults/adolescents.
• Demonstrated maturity and leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure student safety and well-being on program.
• Coordinate daily logistics with drivers and partners.
• Serve as primary communicator with local vendors and parents.
• Mentor students and model responsible travel behavior.
• Communicate program updates to stakeholders.
• Support translation and cross-cultural mediation as needed.
