A global bank payment firm is seeking to hire a Platform Engineering Manager in Lisbon. The Platform Engineering team is a unified, globally distributed team. We are currently located in London and Riga, and we are now expanding to our new hub in Lisbon.We work with all other engineering teams to empower them to build, release, run and scale their products.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join GoCardless in our new hub in Lisbon. As one of the first hires, you'll be building a new, high-performing Platform Engineering team from the ground up.
This role is about more than just management; it's about shaping a team's culture and ensuring its integration with our mature, established platform engineering teams. Your work will have a direct impact on the success of the new hub and the wider company, making a significant contribution to our mission to simplify payments globally.

Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point (€60,800 - €76,000) of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
Please note, this role is initially being offered through an Employer of Record (EOR), our standard benefits package will be available upon transition to direct employment.
