Catawiki in Lisbon is seeking a Platform Engineer to shape and execute our long-term platform vision, empowering teams to deliver value to customers with speed, reliability, and security. You’ll build a self-service developer platform, orchestrate cloud-native infrastructure with Kubernetes, and improve CI/CD, observability, and incident response to reduce toil.

Qualificações

• At least 5 years of production experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Automation mindset with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Observability experience using and maintaining tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
• Strong ownership and proactive approach to platform issues and long-term resilience.
• Collaborative approach with developers and cross-functional teams to deliver simple, impactful solutions.
• Continual learning of cloud-native tools, technologies, and practices in a fast-moving ecosystem.

Responsabilidades

• Build and improve platform capabilities for development, deployment, and operations at scale.
• Orchestrate cloud-native infrastructure and manage Kubernetes clusters for performance and cost efficiency.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and reusable templates to accelerate delivery.
• Drive reliability and scalability through fault tolerance and disaster recovery practices.
• Improve platform observability and incident response to reduce toil and outages.
