Springer Nature is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to shape, build and improve unified platforms that power product teams globally. You will focus on a Platform-First strategy, driving PaaS adoption, and delivering secure, scalable, observable services across Kubernetes and CI/CD stacks.

You will work with diverse teams, owning platform services end to end and promoting automation, tooling, and self-service capabilities to accelerate product delivery.

Qualificações

• Experience operating, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
• Expertise in storage, routing, cloud networking, org policy definition and automation, IAM.
• Programming experience in Go, Python, JVM languages or similar.
• Experience with automation patterns and version control.
• Experience in managing Kubernetes deployments and writing operators/controllers.
• Worked on projects from design to production.

Responsabilidades

• Meet delivery responsibilities as a contributor to the Engineering Platform.
• Build, operate and maintain core capabilities and components of the Engineering Platform.
• Treat the Platform as a product with real customers.
• Develop automation, tooling and self-service mechanisms to move faster.
• Own and operate platform services end to end (Kubernetes, CI/CD, Observability).
• Provide technical support and feed learnings into the product roadmap.
