Page Executive is seeking a senior manufacturing leader in Porto, Portugal to direct all manufacturing activities and collaborate with international leadership to drive growth and transformation. This role focuses on operational excellence, Lean manufacturing, automation, and digital initiatives, while building high-performing teams and ensuring safety, quality and cost targets.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing or related discipline.
• Proven track record in senior manufacturing leadership roles (Plant/Operations Director).
• Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Experience with change management and performance improvements.
• Fluent in English with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Job Description

• Lead all manufacturing activities, ensuring the achievement and delivery of operational,quality, safety, and financial objectives.
• Drive Operational Excellence through Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement,automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop and empower multidisciplinary teams while fostering a high-performance culture built on accountability and collaboration.
• Oversee production, engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Act as a strategic partner to international leadership teams, supporting business growth,investment projects, and organisational transformation.
• Lead the industrialisation and operational ramp-up of new products and technologies, ensuring scalable and efficient manufacturing processes.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators, driving initiatives to improve productivity, quality, delivery performance, and cost competitiveness.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record in senior manufacturing leadership roles such as Plant Director, Operations Director, Manufacturing Director, or equivalent.
• Strong experience within technically demanding industrial environments, ideally involving precision manufacturing, advanced technologies, or high-reliability products.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, change-management and performance improvement programs.
• Fluent in English, with exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, communication skills within international organisations.
