Axians Portugal is seeking a Senior PL/SQL Developer to contribute to the consistency and evolution of IT solutions. The role involves project delivery and maintenance, with a focus on quality and security standards, and collaboration across teams in a global IT environment.

You will coordinate projects, refactor code, provide architectural guidance, and monitor security aspects while supporting lifecycle activities and stakeholder collaboration. Excellent English skills are required.

PL/SQL DEVELOPER

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a PL/SQL Developer responsible for contributing to the functional and application consistency of IT solutions, ensuring service continuity and continuous application development. The professional will be involved in both project delivery and application maintenance activities, following quality and security guidelines and best practices while supporting the evolution of critical business applications.

What You Will Do On a Daily Basis

• Coordinate technical projects and ensure alignment between development activities and business objectives;
• Perform code refactoring and contribute to application development initiatives;
• Provide architectural guidance and technical supervision across projects;
• Monitor security requirements and support obsolescence management activities;
• Support application-related projects and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Your Key Skills

• System design, integration, and cloud technologies;
• Strong background in programming languages and development frameworks;
• PL/SQL development and database management experience.
• Java development expertise;
• Advanced SQL knowledge;

Your Main Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Developer in application development and maintenance environments;
• Experience working on technical projects and supporting application evolution initiatives;
• Strong understanding of software quality, security standards, and best practices;
• Excellent communication skills, networking capability, and team player mindset.
• Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
