The Board of Directors of REQUIMTE has announced an international call for a PhD researcher, under a permanent work contract, to engage in scientific activities focused on developing a bioelectrochemical device utilizing electric-generating microorganisms to degrade soil contaminants. This project is funded by FEDER (COMPETE 2030) and national funds (FCT/MECI).
The position will be based at Universidade do Porto, with a monthly remuneration of €2,351.53, aligned with the level 33 of the Single Salary Table.
Applicants must hold a doctorate in Chemistry or a related area, with proven experience in electrochemical biosensors and validation of analytical procedures. The selection will evaluate the scientific and curricular career, emphasizing recent relevant scientific production, research activities, dissemination, and experience in electrochemistry and environmental sciences or bioanalysis.
