Hiscox in Lisbon is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support payroll and benefits administration for Belgium and the Netherlands within an international HR Operations team. The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and service excellence as you contribute to payroll transformation and process improvements.

You will manage data accuracy, audits, and external communications while ensuring compliance with local regulations and employee benefits programs.

Qualificações

  • Degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in Payroll and Benefits administration.
  • Experience supporting payroll in international environment.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage end-to-end payroll administration for Belgium and the Netherlands.
  • Prepare, validate and maintain payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Review payroll calculations including salaries, deductions, overtime, bonuses and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate payroll documentation and employee records.
  • Perform payroll audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity.
  • Support statutory payroll reporting and compliance with local requirements.
  • Administer employee benefits including health, life insurance and pension schemes.
  • Act as main point of contact for payroll and benefits queries.
  • Liaise with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Produce payroll and benefits reports for audits.
  • Participate in payroll-related projects and process improvements.
