Planet is hiring a Payroll Specialist to deliver international payroll processing and high-quality service across multiple countries. You will review data accuracy, coordinate with vendors, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships in a hybrid work setup.

Fluency in English plus another language is preferred, with experience handling complex payroll workflows. Join Planet and contribute to a scalable payroll function while supporting transitions and acting as a backup to Payroll Manager when

Qualificações

• Experience in processing international payrolls.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle workload.
• Fluent in English and at least one other listed language.

Responsabilidades

• Manage monthly/bi-monthly/weekly payroll for countries in scope.
• Review payroll data for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with payroll vendors for timely approvals and payments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Support scheduled transition projects and act as backup to team.

Role Overview

• Deliver payroll processes and procedures
• Deliver high-quality customer service
• Manage questions from employees, outsource suppliers and internal and external stakeholders
• Escalation point in case of Payroll Manager absence

What You Will Do

• Manage and control vendor relationship, to provide accurate and timely processing of the monthly/bi-monthly/weekly payroll for countries in scope of responsibility
• Review accuracy and completeness of payroll data which needs to be processed
• Control payroll results delivered by payroll vendors, manage timely approvals and payment processing by relevant stakeholders
• Develop and maintain relationships through effective and timely communication with internal and external customers
• Commit to the existing payroll processes, procedures and policies and suggest changes for improving the responsiveness, efficiency and accuracy.
• Actively participate in the scheduled transition projects
• Act as a backup to other Payroll Specialists
• Act as a backup to Payroll Manager

Who You Are

• Experience in processing international payrolls and working within global payroll services and teams
• English / German / French / Spanish / Portuguese speaker
• Ability to complete work assignments within required time constraints and meet critical deadlines
• Ability to take responsibility for the team's work during the absence of the payroll manager
