Planet Payroll is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage international payroll processing for multiple countries and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely payments. You will review data for accuracy, collaborate with stakeholders, and support transition projects.

Qualificações

• Experience in processing international payrolls.
• Fluent in English, German, French, Spanish or Portuguese.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time constraints.
• Ability to cover for the Payroll Manager during absence.

Responsabilidades

• Manage payrolls for countries within scope and coordinate with vendors for timely processing.
• Review payroll data for accuracy and completeness prior to processing.
• Monitor and control payroll results; obtain timely approvals and payment processing.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers.
• Improve payroll processes and procedures for responsiveness and accuracy.
• Participate in transition projects as scheduled.
• Serve as a backup to other Payroll Specialists and to the Payroll Manager.

Role overview

• Deliver payroll processes and procedures
• Deliver high-quality customer service
• Manage questions from employees, outsource suppliers and internal and external stakeholders
• Escalation point in case of Payroll Manager absence

What you will do

• Manage and control vendor relationship, to provide accurate and timely processing of the monthly/bi-monthly/weekly payroll for countries in scope of responsibility
• Review accuracy and completeness of payroll data which needs to be processed
• Control payroll results delivered by payroll vendors, manage timely approvals and payment processing by relevant stakeholders
• Develop and maintain relationships through effective and timely communication with internal and external customers
• Commit to the existing payroll processes, procedures and policies and suggest changes for improving the responsiveness, efficiency and accuracy.
• Actively participate in the scheduled transition projects
• Act as a backup to other Payroll Specialists
• Act as a backup to Payroll Manager

Who you are

• Experience in processing international payrolls and working within global payroll services and teams
• English / German / French / Spanish / Portuguese speaker
• Ability to complete work assignments within required time constraints and meet critical deadlines
• Ability to take responsibility for the team's work during the absence of the payroll manager
