We are in need of a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team on a part-time basis in Faro. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, while also ensuring that they meet modern safety and building codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine necessary restoration work
• Creating detailed preservation plans that adhere to safety codes and regulations
• Collaborating with construction teams to oversee the implementation of preservation plans
• Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues
• Working with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for restoration projects
• Researching historical building materials and techniques for accurate restoration
• Providing expertise on preserving architectural elements such as facades, roofs, windows, and interiors
• Maintaining accurate documentation of all restoration work and expenses

Requirements
