Part-Time Preservation Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Preservation Architect to join our team on a part-time basis in Braga, Portugal. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation work
• Designing plans for preservation and restoration projects, considering historical significance, structural integrity, and budgetary constraints
• Obtaining necessary approvals from local authorities for preservation projects
• Overseeing construction work to ensure adherence to preservation plans
• Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and provide guidance as needed
• Collaborating with other architects, engineers, contractors, and historians on preservation projects
• Maintaining accurate records of all preservation work for future reference

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
