BrightPath Engineering is seeking a part-time carpenter in Almada, Portugal. The role involves creating and repairing wooden structures, with a flexible schedule up to 30 hours per week. Housing isn’t included; candidates must commute or already reside in Almada. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.

You will read blueprints, measure and cut wood, install and finish fixtures, and collaborate with other trades on larger projects while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualificações

• 3+ years carpentry experience.
• Able to read blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Physically fit with ability to lift heavy materials.
• Valid Portugal work permit or eligible to obtain one.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine materials needed.

• Build, install and repair structures such as furniture, cabinets, doors and windows.
• Install hardware (hinges, handles, locks).
• Sand surfaces and apply finishes (varnish or paint).

• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.

As a part-time carpenter in Almada Portugal you will be responsible for creating and repairing wooden structures and fixtures You will work on a flexible schedule with the potential to work up to 30 hours per week This position does not include accommodation so we are seeking candidates who already have housing in Almada or are willing to commute We are also open to providing visa sponsorship for qualified candidates

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a carpenter or similar role
• Proficient in reading blueprints and drawings
• Skilled in using hand and power tools for cutting shaping joining sanding etc
• Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail for precise measurements and finishes
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time
• Valid work permit for Portugal or willingness to obtain one
