Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a skilled engineering leader to drive Packet Core delivery, upgrades, and large-scale telecom deployments. You will provide technical leadership, governance, and design oversight across multi-functional teams.

Fluent English and deep Packet Core expertise are essential. The role offers hybrid work arrangements, exposure to multinational projects, and opportunities for professional growth aligned with Capgemini’s global engineering ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Packet Core delivery, integration, or operations.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a technical leadership, upgrade management, or project delivery leadership role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale telecom deployment and software upgrade projects.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong Packet Core domain expertise.
• Proven experience leading Packet Core deployment and upgrade projects.
• Deep understanding of: Cloud Mobility Gateway (CMG), Cloud Mobility Manager (CMM), Network Repository Data (NRD), Packet Core Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of: Software lifecycle management, Upgrade methodologies, System integration, Acceptance testing, Service migration, High-availability telecom solutions.
• Experience working with: Salesforce, JIRA, 4LS organizations, R&D teams.
• Strong risk management and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience preparing: Upgrade Assessments, RCA Reports, MOPs, HLDs/LLDs, Project delivery documentation.
