Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Packet Core delivery specialist to implement and validate 4G/5G core solutions across customer environments. You will deploy and configure EPC/5G nodes, create test artifacts and MOPs, and ensure delivery quality in a mixed client-facing setting.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in telecom core networks, hands-on Packet Core experience, and strong troubleshooting. The role offers hybrid work and exposure to international projects with Capgemini's global teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish (B2) and English (B2).
• Minimum of 6 years in Telecommunications, Mobile Core Networks, or related fields.
• Experience in Packet Core deployment, integration, testing, migration and upgrades.
• Experience in large-scale telecom operator environments.
• Hands-on EPC/5G Core knowledge.
• Customer-facing and project delivery experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver Packet Core (PaCo) solutions per Low-Level Design specifications.
• Create and validate MOPs, templates, and deployment artifacts.
• Onboard, deploy, integrate, and configure Packet Core nodes.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and procedures.
• Perform system ATP and functional ATP tests and document results.
• Support software upgrades and lab testing; prepare Golden MOPs.
• Coordinate issue resolution with customer teams and TPMs.

YOUR ROLE

Packet Core Solution Delivery

• Deliver Packet Core (PaCo) solutions according to approved Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Generate and validate instantiation templates, Method of Procedure (MOP) documents, and deployment artifacts based on LLDs and data fill sheets.
• Perform onboarding, deployment, integration, and configuration of Packet Core nodes.
• Ensure all implementations comply with customer requirements, design specifications, and operational procedures.

Packet Core Technologies

• AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function)
• MME (Mobility Management Entity)
• SMF/SPF (Session Management Functions)
• UPF (User Plane Function)
• NRF/NSF and related Core Network Functions
• 4G EPC and 5G Core architectures

Knowledge and hands-on experience with Nokia Packet Core products is highly valued.

Testing & Validation

• Execute System Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and Functional ATP test cases.
• Validate deployment activities and document all required test results and artifacts.
• Perform Feature Activation Testing and ensure successful service implementation.
• Support software upgrade lab testing and the preparation of Golden MOPs.

Troubleshooting & Support

• Troubleshoot issues related to deployment, integration, testing, and software upgrades.
• Coordinate issue resolution with customer teams, Technical Project Managers (TPMs), Care teams, and higher support levels.
• Open and track incidents through approved channels, including Internal JIRA and Salesforce.
• Provide post-deployment and post-upgrade support activities.
• Work closely with Care and 4LS teams during critical incidents and emergency situations.
• Provide L2 support where contractually agreed.

Migration & Upgrade Activities

• Support Packet Core service migration projects.
• Prepare MOPs and technical documentation for software upgrade activities.
• Execute software upgrades for Packet Core nodes.
• Participate in upgrade validation and service restoration activities.
• Provide 4-eye support and quality assurance during critical implementation tasks.

Handover & Operational Readiness

• Support Delivery-to-Care handover activities and ensure successful operational transition.
• Ensure all project documentation, configurations, and operational procedures are completed and delivered.

Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct knowledge transfer (KT) sessions and technical workshops.
• Capture and document lessons learned within approved knowledge management tools.
• Support internal processes related to JIRA workflows and operational practices.
• Contribute to Packet Core certification development initiatives in coordination with KMCD and relevant technical organizations.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Spanish: B2 (Professional Working Proficiency)
• English: B2 (Professional Working Proficiency)
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Telecommunications, Mobile Core Networks, Network Integration, System Delivery, or Managed Services.
• Proven experience in Packet Core deployment, integration, testing, migration, and upgrade activities.
• Experience in large-scale telecom operator environments.
• Hands-on experience with EPC and/or 5G Core network architectures.
• Experience working in customer-facing and project delivery environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
