Mission, Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for leading the Material Planning team, ensuring procurement planning and execution activities are delivered according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), while driving operational efficiency, cost control, standardization, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Material Planning team.
- Allocate workload, define KPIs, monitor performance, and manage training and career development.
- Ensure compliance with Group standards, FES X.0 requirements, and procurement processes.
- Manage daily Material Planning operations within the agreed scope and SLAs.
- Develop and monitor procurement plans based on plant requirements, MRP outputs, and supplier capacity.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Plants, and Transportation teams to optimize supply plans, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
- Monitor supplier delivery performance (MPM), manage alerts, and drive corrective actions.
- Support process standardization, implementation of tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure supplier documentation, agreements, and logistics data are maintained and updated.
- Monitor team budget, operational costs, and productivity targets.
- Support recruitment, skills development, performance reviews, and team engagement.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, Ethics, and Audit requirements.

Qualifications
- Technical, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial or supply‑chain management.
- Multi‑functional & multi‑cultural communication skills.
- Experience with SAP is appreciated.
- Ideally bilingual (incl. English).
- Customer orientation, leadership, team spirit, autonomy, openness to new ideas.
- Ability to work under time pressure.
