Next Engineering in Lisbon is seeking a NEXT P&L Analyst to join our hybrid team. You will produce and validate official Economic P&L figures, analyze market movements, and investigate discrepancies with Front Office teams.

The role requires 1+ year in similar functions, strong analytical skills, and experience with large financial datasets. We offer competitive base salary, food allowance, flexible benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in similar functions (P&L / financial analysis)
• Knowledge of Financial Markets and P&L analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work with large data sets and financial reports
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in Financial Markets or Investment Banking (nice to have)
• Knowledge of hedge accounting and risk analysis processes (nice to have)
• Produce and validate official Economic P&L figures and explanations
• Analyze market movements, new deals and investigate discrepancies with Front Office teams
• Review and challenge P&L explain allocations and risk-based market P&L results
• Analyze and document differences between P&L and risk reports
• Perform hedge accounting controls whenever applicable
• Submit validated P&L figures for Front Office sign-off
• Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency
• Maintain strong collaboration with Front Office and internal stakeholders
