Bridge351 in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking an Intermediate Database Administrator to support Oracle, MySQL, and Exadata environments across multiple clients. The role blends operations and project work in a hybrid setup with at least two on-site days per week in the Lisbon area.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in database administration, solid Oracle/MySQL expertise, and English proficiency at B1 level or higher. Knowledge of Oracle RAC/Data Guard and OCI is a plus; Portuguese native is required.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration.
• Proven experience managing Oracle databases (various versions) and MySQL.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle Database, MySQL, Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Availability for ongoing operational tasks.
• Commitment to continuous learning.
• Native Portuguese; English at B1 level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Provide specialized technical support in Database Administration (Oracle / MySQL / Exadata), responding to incidents and queries.
• Monitor and resolve day-to-day database issues, ensuring optimal performance.
• Contribute to the implementation and support of database-related projects.
• Collaborate with the teams supporting database-dependent software.
• Participate in the implementation of best practices and process improvements.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation when required.
• Follow established security standards and best practices in database administration.
• Communicate effectively with team members supporting ongoing operations and projects.
