Qualificações

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Oracle DBA.
Solid hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Dataguard environments.
Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (Qualys or similar).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).

Role Overview:

We are looking for an Oracle DBA to join one of our Nearshore teams working with international clients across Europe.

This role can be performed remotely, or from our Lisbon or Porto offices, depending on your preference.

As an Oracle DBA at Neotalent Conclusion, you’ll be responsible for building, maintaining, and modernizing Oracle database platforms. You will play a key role in driving automation, resilience, and observability while ensuring the reliability and security of systems that support critical workloads in sectors such as public transportation and energy.

What you will do:

Build, manage, tune, and migrate Oracle databases (RAC, ASM, Dataguard);
Automate database operations using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines;
Manage security and vulnerability compliance with Qualys, driving proactive risk mitigation;
Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams in hybrid and cloud-native environments;
Support lifecycle management (LCM), upgrades, and patching processes in mission-critical setups;
Contribute to modernization initiatives, enabling automation and AI-driven operations.

What you are like:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Oracle DBA;
Solid hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Dataguard environments;
Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef);
Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (Qualys or similar);
Understanding of database security, compliance, upgrades, and patching practices;
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling (Azure DevOps, Git), and cloud environments (Azure/AWS);
Oracle Certified Professional certification is a plus;
Proficiency in English (written and spoken);
