LusoSpace Lda is seeking an Optical AIT Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team in Lisboa, Portugal. The role involves supporting the design and testing of optical systems for both space and ground applications. Candidates should have a background in Physics Engineering and be ready to engage in hands-on activities and optical testing.

Qualificações

• BSc in Physics Engineering, or similar (Ms preferred, PhD welcomed).
• Previous professional experience in this area is considered a plus.
• Basic understanding of optics, including ray tracing and radiometric principles.
• Familiarity with optical design and ray-tracing tools is an advantage.
• Practical laboratory experience in optical assembly, testing, and measurement is considered a plus.
• Willingness to perform hands‑on activities and to support off‑site AIT campaigns.

Responsabilidades

• Support optical design and analysis activities.
• Assist in the selection and procurement of optical measurement equipment.
• Participate in optical integration, alignment, and testing activities.
• Perform alignment activities using optical metrology equipment.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and test documentation.
• Provide support to proposal activities.
