Quanteam, founding entity of Rainbow Partners, is a consulting firm specializing in Banking and Financial Services. Based in Porto, we seek an Operational Risk Analyst to support risk management activities across our clients.

The role covers RCSA, control improvements, incident management, and governance reporting. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and proficiency in Excel. This permanent hybrid position offers health insurance.

Qualificações

• Experience in Operational Risk, Internal Controls or Risk Management.
• Knowledge of RCSA and control assessment methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform RCSA to identify and monitor operational risks.
• Support implementation and improvement of risk and control processes.
• Review and update procedures to meet group standards and regulations.
• Define and coordinate permanent control plans and remediation actions.
• Manage operational incidents and root cause analysis.
• Monitor audit findings and coordinate action plans for closure.
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards and governance docs for committees.
• Collaborate with business teams to strengthen risk awareness.
• Escalate significant risks and control weaknesses.
• Promote best practices through training and communication.

We are looking for an Operational Risk Analyst

Main Tasks

• Perform Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) to identify, assess and monitor operational risks and existing control frameworks.
• Support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of operational risk and permanent control processes.
• Review, update and maintain operational procedures, ensuring compliance with Group standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Define, execute and coordinate permanent control plans, analysing results and monitoring remediation actions.
• Manage operational incidents, ensuring timely reporting, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures.
• Monitor audit findings and recommendations, coordinating action plans until successful closure.
• Prepare operational risk reports, dashboards and governance documentation for management committees.
• Collaborate with business teams, internal control functions and stakeholders to strengthen risk awareness and control effectiveness.
• Escalate significant operational risks and recurring control weaknesses when appropriate.
• Promote Operational Risk and Permanent Control best practices through communication and training initiatives.

Main Skills & Requirements

• Previous experience in Operational Risk, Internal Controls, Permanent Control, Audit or Risk Management.
• Good understanding of Operational Risk frameworks, Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and Internal Control methodologies.
• Experience managing operational incidents, remediation plans and audit recommendations.
• Ability to analyse processes, identify control gaps and propose risk mitigation actions.
• Strong knowledge of governance, compliance and operational risk principles within regulated environments.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Highly organised with strong planning and prioritisation skills.
• This role offers a gross annual salary between 24.500€ to 60.500€, defined according to the candidate’s experience and competencies.
