Lufthansa Technik Portugal S.A., part of the Lufthansa Technik Group, is establishing a new MRO facility near Porto, Portugal, offering a purchasing role to support engine parts and aircraft components supply. You will coordinate purchasing activities, source suppliers, expedite deliveries, resolve issues, and ensure contract compliance across departments, while coordinating with internal stakeholders.

The position requires English and Portuguese fluency, 1–3 years in purchasing or procurement,

Qualificações

• Degree/technical qualification or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in purchasing/procurement.
• Knowledge of material processes and basic supply chain principles.
• Manufacturing or aviation experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Willing to travel occasionally for training and business purposes.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate purchasing activities to secure best prices and lead times.
• Source suppliers, expedite deliveries, and resolve supply issues.
• Monitor supplier performance against KPIs (on-time delivery, goods receipt, invoicing).
• Coordinate between external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare status reports and act as main contact for suppliers.

Tasks

Contributes to commercial success by coordinating purchasing activities, sourcing suppliers, expediting deliveries, resolving supply issues, and ensuring compliance with supplier contracts across departments.

Responsibilities and Tasks including but are not limited to the following:

• Perform relevant purchasing activities to ensure the supply to the best possible conditions (prices,lead times)
• Handle clarifications of purchase orders (solve goods received and invoice clarification with suppliers)
• Coordinate,control and solve supply requirements across departments and clarifications related to such requirement
• Monitor suppliers' performance according to KPIs as in time delivery,good receive and invoice clarification
• Execute coordination between external suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Support the preparation of status reports
• Act as a point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree/technical qualification or equivalent
• 1-3 years of professional experience in purchasing/procurement
• Knowledge of material processes and basic supply chain principles
• Manufacturing or aviation experience preferred
• Fluency in English and Portuguese
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP
• Strong analytical,problem-solving,and decision-making
