We are seeking a confident Operador/a Caixas e Relação Cliente to join our dynamic team at LEROY MERLIN Portugal in Penafiel.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Ensure a welcoming environment for customers at all points of contact;
  • Greet customers in a personalized manner at the Welcome desk;
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of store operations;
  • Adapt communication and service to different customer types;
  • Identify customer needs and offer effective solutions;
  • Provide basic information on product availability, location, order status, services, or procedures;
  • Handle post-sale customer service, including opening repair processes and ordering parts;
  • Manage the store's CRM autonomously, offering appropriate solutions and coordinating with relevant store areas;
  • Manage waiting situations efficiently and independently;
  • Handle customer conflicts ensuring complete satisfaction;
  • Have basic knowledge of best-selling product families and undergo product training;
  • Make autonomous decisions to ensure customer satisfaction aligned with store strategy and objectives;
  • Process payments and returns;
  • Control the entry and exit of goods in different areas, applying anti-theft procedures;
  • Organize accounting documents related to cash registers;
  • Master payment procedures, adapting to the payment method being used;
  • Inform, train, and support customers in autonomous payment methods (Quick Cash or Website);
  • Assist sales staff with payment at the Point of Sale;
  • Ensure proper cash fund management;
  • Strictly follow cash and safe procedures;
  • Complete the customer service and audit checklists and ensure compliance;
  • Promote best practices related to store payment processes and procedures.
