Gleeds Corporate Services Ltd in Sines, Portugal, is seeking a Cost Manager to support the on-site commercial management of a large-scale data centre project.

You will lead change management and payments, review change requests and valuations, and provide cost and commercial advice to underpin project profitability. This role requires on-site work five days a week and a strong background in post-contract cost management.

Qualificações

• Engineering, QS degree or similar.
• Sound post-contract cost management experience on large-scale projects, preferably data centres.
• Experience in change management, including assessment, tracking and reporting of project changes.
• Knowledge of valuations, payment applications, certification and related processes.
• Clear understanding of legislation and contractual provisions.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese desirable.
• Available to work in Sines five days a week.

Responsabilidades

• Support Directors in delivering business objectives.
• Manage change management and payment services per client requirements.
• Identify, review, approve, implement and close-out project changes.
• Review change requests, quotations, and assess cost, contract, and risk implications.
• Maintain change registers and audit trails.
• Provide cost and commercial advice on changes.
• Review payment applications and valuations of completed work.
• Coordinate with project teams to record and process changes and payments.
• Prepare and present regular change, payment, cost and commercial reports.
• Identify cost-related risks and opportunities.
• Support resolution of commercial issues and payment disputes.
• Integrate change and payment activities into project delivery.
• Manage service delivery within scope, programme and budget.
