SBM Offshore N.V. is seeking a Technical Manager to lead the technical department, ensuring asset integrity and reliable operations across marine and offshore FPSO/FSO projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 12+ years in marine/offshore sectors, and at least 5 years in management with strong process safety and operations-improvement track records. Master’s is a plus; based in Porto, Portugal.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; master is a plus.
• 12+ years in marine/offshore petrochemical with FPSO/FSO operations.
• 5+ years of managerial experience; proven leadership in technical ops.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support and assurance to maintain asset integrity and performance.
• Manage daily technical operations ensuring safety, compliance and efficiency.
• Lead troubleshooting for complex operational challenges.
• Develop and implement strategies for operations improvements to reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to execute projects and maintenance.
• Mentor technical staff and foster continuous learning.
• Lead 3Y AI budget preparation and monitor yearly consumption.
