Job summary

Subsea7 in Lisbon is seeking a motivated CAD Designer to join our Engineering team. You will deliver high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models for offshore and subsea projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and project requirements.

Work closely with Project Engineers and multidisciplinary teams to translate concepts into practical designs, review work, mentor junior designers, and contribute to tool development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a technical qualification in Design Drafting.
• Established experience in engineering design, CAD drafting, or project engineering support.
• Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software.
• Ability to interpret engineering requirements and translate them into clear, accurate drawings and models.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, fabrication, and assembly principles.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models in accordance with engineering requirements, project specifications, and company procedures.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers and multidisciplinary teams to translate engineering concepts into practical design deliverables.
• Support engineering studies, technical reviews, constructability assessments, and design optimization activities.
• Review and check drawings and models produced by other designers within your field of knowledge.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.
