Kats Recruitment seeks a Norwegian-speaking Video Content Moderator for an on-site role in Lisbon. You will review video content, monitor text and audio for safety, and ensure compliance with platform rules while working in a premium Lisbon office.

The role requires native or near-native Norwegian, English at least B2, EU passport or valid Portugal work permit, and a resilient, detail-oriented mindset. The position offers a 40-hour week, 100% on-site work, and relocation assistance with flight

Norwegian-Speaking Video Content Moderator – Social Media Industry (Lisbon)

Are you a Norwegian speaker who is passionate about internet safety, digital media, and online trends? We are seeking detail-oriented and analytically minded individuals to join our international hub on-site in Lisbon! In this role, you will work behind the scenes for one of the world's leading video-sharing platforms, reviewing digital media to ensure a safe, welcoming, and secure community for millions of users.

The Role

• Video Review: Monitor, evaluate, and moderate user-generated video content and accompanying text/audio in Norwegian, ensuring strict adherence to global community guidelines and safety policies.
• Risk Identification: Detect and quickly flag inappropriate, harmful, fraudulent, or policy-violating visual material, taking swift action to enforce guidelines.
• Objective Decision-Making: Apply critical thinking to make accurate, independent choices regarding video removals, age-restrictions, or account escalations.
• Data Security: Handle user reports and sensitive platform information with the highest standards of confidentiality and digital privacy.

Working Model & Location

• Location: Lisbon, Portugal.
• Work Model: Full-time, 100% on-site role based in a state-of-the-art, high-tech office hub.
• Shift Pattern: Rotational operational shifts (which may include weekends or holidays to support a 24/7 digital environment).

Requirements

• Native or Near-Native Norwegian: Flawless verbal and written communication skills with a strong grasp of Nordic cultural nuances and internet slang.

• Legal Status: Must hold an EU Passport or a valid Work Permit for Portugal.
