Decskill is growing and seeking a NodeJS Software Developer to join our IT consulting team in Portugal. You will design, develop, and optimize scalable backend services focused on data processing and microservice-based architectures in the cloud.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Promises and async/await, RESTful APIs, cloud providers (AWS, GCP or Azure), and messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ). Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and Docker is a plus, and English proficiency is required for

Qualificações

• +5 years backend Node.js experience.
• Proficiency with Promises and async/await; concurrency patterns.
• Experience processing large data volumes (streams/queues/batch/real-time).
• Consolidated cloud experience (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Experience with microservices and messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of RESTful and/or SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Nice to have Docker experience.
• Good level of English.

We are looking for an NodeJS Software Developer!

Mission: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable solutions, with a focus on high data processing, microservice-based architectures, and the cloud.

The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of synchronous and asynchronous programming concepts, including Promises and async/await, and has proven experience in distributed and large-scale systems.

• Develop and maintain backend applications and services in Node.js.
