Jobbex is seeking a Network Specialist to administer and optimize firewall gateways, implement security policies, and monitor incidents in a Lisbon-based role. You will help manage intrusion prevention, VPN connectivity, and high-availability environments while producing clear technical documentation.

The role focuses on enterprise firewall technologies, TCP/IP networking, and maintaining secure, compliant operations within a dynamic client environment in Portugal.

Qualificações

• Experience with enterprise firewall technologies.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing and switching.
• Hands-on experience configuring intrusion prevention systems.
• VPN technologies experience (site-to-site and remote access).
• Experience with high-availability and complex environments.

Responsabilidades

• Administer, configure, and maintain firewall gateways and management platforms.
• Implement, tune, and monitor security policies.
• Manage and optimize security features such as intrusion prevention, next-generation firewall capabilities, application control, and web filtering.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents.
• Perform software updates, patches, and signature database maintenance.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and security-related issues.
• Support security audits and compliance requirements.
• Produce technical documentation and operational procedures.
