Bee Engineering ICT is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join a highly autonomous infrastructure team in Lisbon. You will work in a complex, multi-vendor perimeter security and application delivery environment, ensuring secure, reliable connectivity and services.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, ownership of technical topics, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement robust security controls and optimized delivery platforms.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networks, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Solid professional experience in perimeter security and/or application delivery environments
• Strong hands-on experience with firewalls, load balancers and web proxy technologies

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join a highly autonomous infrastructure team responsible for a complex, multi-vendor perimeter security and application delivery environment.

Dare to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networks, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Solid professional experience in perimeter security and/or application delivery environments
• Strong hands-on experience with firewalls, load balancers and web proxy technologies
• Experience with at least some of the following vendors and technologies:
• F5 BIG-IP
• Check Point
• Fortinet FortiGate
• Infoblox
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, NAT, VPNs, DNS and TLS/SSL
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network and application connectivity issues across multiple infrastructure layers
• Experience working with highly available and business-critical environments
• Knowledge of automation tools, REST APIs, Ansible, Git and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical topics

Dare Plus:

• Vendor certifications related to F5, Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Infoblox, Azure or similar technologies.
• Experience with declarative configuration frameworks such as F5 AS3.
• Previous experience in banking, financial services or another highly regulated environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory and operational frameworks such as DORA and CSSF.
• Experience working with air-gapped infrastructure and strict change-management processes.
