Affinity is seeking a Network/Security Engineer to join our Porto team. You will work on complex network security projects across multiple environments, leveraging firewall expertise and data centre knowledge to ensure robust, scalable infrastructure.

The role requires strong Python skills and experience with AI-assisted development tools, with opportunities to grow in a collaborative, hybrid-work setting in Portugal.

Qualificações

• Certifications: JNCIP or CCNP (CCNA considered).

What we’re looking for:

• 3-5 years of experience in similar network/security engineering functions;
• Juniper JNCIP or Cisco CCNP certification (CCNA also considered);
• Advanced expertise in firewall technologies, including Checkpoint and Fortinet;
• Solid technical knowledge of network service providers (service types, SLAs, fiber paths, redundancy);
• Strong understanding of Data Centre infrastructure;
• Proven network trace analysis skills in critical and complex environments;
• Working knowledge of Python, including AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot.
