A2IT Technology in Lisbon area is seeking a Network Engineer specializing in Routing & Switching to join a Communications Engineering team responsible for enterprise network infrastructures.

The role requires CCNP Enterprise, 5+ years of IP networking experience, and hands-on Cisco gear (Catalyst/Nexus/ASA/ACI). You will troubleshoot, implement changes, document procedures and support users.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
• Active CCNP Enterprise certification for at least 3 years.
• 5+ years experience managing IP networks and Data Centers.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco environments (Catalyst 6500, Nexus 7000, ASA, ASR, ACI).
• Experience with Wi-Fi networks is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain LAN infrastructure and network equipment.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents.
• Provide support and collaborate with internal users to identify technical issues.
• Perform network changes and reconfigurations.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational reports,
• Assess impacts and propose solutions to minimize operational risks.

We are hiring: Network Engineer | Routing & Switching (4 openings)

We are looking for experienced professionals to join a Communications Engineering team, focused on the management and evolution of enterprise network infrastructures.

• High school diploma (12th grade) or equivalent technical qualification;
• Active CCNP Enterprise certification for at least 3 years;
• More than 5 years of proven experience managing IP networks and Data Centers;
• Hands-on experience with Cisco environments (Catalyst 6500, Nexus 7000, ASA, ASR, ACI, among others);
• Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching, MPLS, VLAN, VPN, IPSec, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, QoS, ACL, SD-WAN, and virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi and Hyper‑V);
• One of the four professionals must have proven experience managing and maintaining enterprise Wi‑Fi networks.
