Nonius, a leading provider of Guest Technology Solutions for hospitality, is seeking a Network Engineer for our Maia-Portugal office. You will deliver high-complexity L2 network troubleshooting, cloud controller management, and end-to-end project execution with field coordination.

As a key link between clients, NOC, and field teams, you will ensure fast, reliable network performance, guide junior engineers, and help shape quality standards and project handovers in a busy on-site role.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Expertise in designing and optimizing secure network architectures for IPTV, VoIP, CCTV, and Guest Wi‑Fi.
• Proven deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting across routing, switching, VoIP, and wireless.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, QoS and security policies.
• Experience with Cloud Wi-Fi platforms and network controllers.
• Curiosity for AI-driven tools and automation in networking.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end project planning and coordinate field technicians and subcontractors.
• Provide expert guidance on complex requests and train junior engineers.
• Adhere to consultancy standards to maintain quality and satisfaction.
• Handle shift tickets, escalations, and validate project reports.
• Create maintenance guidelines/scripts and direct field technicians on-site.
• Follow NOC work instructions and propose process improvements.
