Hexa People in Porto, Portugal seeks a Network Automation Engineer to design, automate and operate a highly available global network across data-center and AWS environments. You will drive network automation and Infrastructure-as-Code to create scalable deployment and operational processes, in collaboration with Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, DevOps and Application teams.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree and 5+ years in Network Engineering with strong TCP/IP, routing, switching and BGP

Qualificações

• 5+ years hands-on Network Engineering experience in enterprise or service-provider environments.
• Strong TCP/IP, routing, switching and BGP expertise.
• Proven network automation experience using Python, Ansible, Terraform, GitLab and CI/CD in IaC environment.
• Fluent English communication in international teams.
• Based in Portugal

Responsabilidades

• Drive network automation and Infrastructure-as-Code, creating repeatable and scalable deployment and operational processes.
• Design, implement and operate highly available global network architectures supporting business-critical services.
• Optimize routing and network performance with focus on BGP, TCP/IP, routing and switching.
• Build and evolve software-defined data-center networking and load-balancing solutions.
• Design scalable AWS network architectures and collaborate across Cloud, Security, Infrastructure and Application teams.
